I am a Physician graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, and a Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology graduated from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, with a medical residency program completed at the Hospital Universitario de Santander and Fundación Santa Fé de Bogotá. Additionally, I am a Sub-Specialist in Reconstructive Surgery and Hip and Knee Joint Replacement from the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, with a Fellowship program completed at the Hospital Militar Central in Bogotá DC. I am currently a full member of the Colombian Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology - SCCOT and the Colombian Hip and Knee Society - SOCCAR. I practice as a Hip and Knee Surgeon at the Hospital Universitario de Santander and maintain a strategic alliance with the Hospital Internacional de Colombia.

My practice is based on both orthopedic and surgical treatment of pathologies that alter the anatomy and proper functioning of the hip and knee joints, through different options ranging from minimally invasive techniques such as joint injections and arthroscopy for sports injuries, to major joint reconstructive surgeries such as Arthroplasty for Total or Partial Hip and Knee Replacement. Likewise, I perform reintervention (Revision) for complications from these types of procedures—all based on high-quality human and scientific care, with the ultimate goal of improving my patients' quality of life and achieving solutions for their problems through national and international cutting-edge means.
